Tape duplication and mastering at Magnetic Domains

This work was recorded under the influence of "KHENFU"

"WINGÉD MA'AT hit their marks beautifully; they are peddlers of the hypnotic, this outfit, and it becomes quite easy to drift upon their ingeniously constructed pieces the deeper you venture within… These 42 negative confessions have a brief run-time and the whole affair doesn’t even crack the hour mark but you’ll swear you’ve traveled millennia; wandering from one set of abandoned ruins to the next, perpetually searching for what may reveal itself at the end of life…" SANTA SANGRE

"Beautiful from the outside to all the way in. Mysteriously connected to ancient civilizations with Egyptian hieroglyphs, pyramids, gateways and goddesses, THE 42 NEGATIVE CONFESSIONS OF WINGÉD MA'AT might be something we will never understand, but is a complete pleasure to listen to… The incredible packaging only heightens the experience. These tracks will sooth your thoughts while keeping your senses keen and can maintain this ability through countless flips of the tape. Ma'at will weigh your heart at the end before you soul crosses into the Duat. Thankfully I have had the experience of listening to such exquisite music like WINGÉD MA'AT has bestowed." LOST IN A SEA OF SOUND

"While some sounds found herein perhaps maybe could have been captured within the dusty, reverberant catacombs under Giza, they just as well could have been conjured up in abandoned warehouses and midnight parking garages, as the synth arpeggiations and major key melodies are strictly western. Exotification aside, the beatless melding of synth and heavily treated guitar-meanderings (and I’m talking delay pedals for daaaays here, folx) recall the head-lolling Harmonia and some of the better Tangerine Dream dronescapes, with the brighter layers mixed well enough to reveal a darkness that doesn’t command attention the first time around, which is pretty rad, I think. Great soundtrack for an urban hike!" CASSETTE GODS

"Sonically and thematically, somewhere between Tangerine Dream and Jean-Michel Jarre live at Giza… Chunky analog chopped up and distorted then shot through with laser-like electro pulses and staccato reverb-drenched guitar…" NORMAN RECORDS
