MZK is South East London-based musician Michał Zygmunt Kruszyński.

¡SetSail! is an exclusive mix for Bloxham Tapes, pieced together from fragments from Michał's extensive audio diaries. It's an uplifting cross-pollination of acoustic and vintage electric piano sounds, analogue and digital synths, drum machines and myriad effects, mixed live and mastered as a love letter to the imperfections of ferric tape – happy Valentine’s Day.

Fans of The Future Sound of London, Boards of Canada and DJ Shadow – as well as Eno, Florian Fricke and classic Vangelis – will find plenty to savour. In a year thus far dark, set sail into blissful light with MZK, the sound of hopeful springs and summers to come.
Now available as a limited edition pro-dubbed cassette in hand-screen printed outer card packaging with artwork designed by Luke Drozd, ¡SetSail! is limited to 35 copies.

"The tones tilt towards a futuristic world of yet to be understood creations. Moving in cadence to rhythms we recognize and rhythms we don't. Seeming like the cassette was almost transported from future to past, sounds almost damaged in the energy needed for displacement." LOST IN A SEA OF SOUND
